Usually not with certainty. Many insect bites, stings, allergic reactions, and skin infections can look similar. A photo can document change, but it usually cannot prove the exact cause. Take clear dated photos in similar lighting and use them alongside exposure history and symptom progression.
Look at whether marks are single or clustered, where they are on the body, when they appeared, whether exposure happened during sleep or outdoors, and whether symptoms are mainly itchy, painful, or progressively worsening.

First Aid

Remove it promptly with clean fine-tipped tweezers, grasping as close to the skin as possible and pulling upward with steady, even pressure. Clean the bite area and your hands afterward.
Avoid repeated scratching, cutting, squeezing, suction, and harsh chemicals. These can damage the skin and increase the chance of infection or make the original reaction harder to evaluate.
A wrapped cool pack can help local pain and swelling for many minor bites and stings. Do not place ice directly on bare skin, and use short intervals.

Allergy & Emergency Warning Signs

Warning signs can include trouble breathing, swelling of the lips, tongue, face, or throat, fainting or severe dizziness, widespread hives with other systemic symptoms, or rapidly worsening whole-body symptoms.

They can be. Multiple stings increase total venom exposure. Children, medically vulnerable people, and anyone developing symptoms beyond the sting sites deserve a lower threshold for prompt medical evaluation.

Infection, Healing & Complications
